Our favourite beaches in East Sussex

Our favourite beaches in East Sussex

We have some fabulous beaches on the south coast of England and we have our favourites. Whether you are looking for miles of sand dunes, shallow waters, rock pools or treasure hunting, we have a beach for you. We wrote this blog while the UK was still in lockdown due to the Covid19 and were due to post as the UK government announced we could now visit beaches again. Great Dixter's Garden and other gardens in East Sussex

Small steps, big changes

Small steps, big changes

I had planned this current blog before Covid-19 was even a reality but it seems quite fitting at the moment. Whilst the globe battles with the pandemic, our planet is benefiting hugely. With flights grounded, cities and towns without rush hours, more people choosing to walk, cycle or run, local to home, so less traffic on the roads. Shopping conscientiously by most and using up what is in our larders and freezers. Many reinstating the vegetable patch, as more time at home due to lockdown and with less traffic everywhere nature and wildlife are enjoying a freedom they haven’t had in centuries. So in these difficult times, it’s nice to know that some good is being felt around the world. Hope you enjoy the read.
