We loved our stay at Tilling View! The cottage came with a parking spot which was fantastic. It’s gold dust in Rye to find a property with parking. The house was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the upstairs bathroom was very nice! Board games, books, tv’s and a quaint outdoor space were great bonuses. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The road in front of the cottage was very bumpy and full of potholes and there was construction going on Thursday and Friday, but this is not the owner’s fault. Go to the Cobbles Tea Room for a lovely afternoon tea, Hoof for tasty burgers and chips, and Whitehouse Rye for some delicious food. Rye Castle and Lamb House are great places to explore. Book a guided tour with the Town Crier, he’s brilliant! We can’t wait to come back to Rye and stay at Tilling View again.
