Southbank is a family-friendly holiday cottage within minutes of the town centre of Rye.
Southbank is a modern holiday cottage with three bedrooms and parking in the pretty town of Rye.
The cottage is furnished with a contemporary mix of retro and beach vibe, offering a spacious feel for a family of five.
The ground floor consists of a downstairs cloakroom, a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences you want, a home from home and an open-plan lounge/diner. There are french doors onto the paved terrace with a raised area reached via steps.
You have a 50-inch smart TV where you can log on to your streaming channels if needed, good wifi and space to work from the dining table if you have to bring work away with you.
The three bedrooms are two doubles with king-size beds and one single bedroom. A modern family bathroom with a separate bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
We accept one well behaved dog for a small additional fee but rules apply. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or upstairs and if they used to snoozing on the sofa we ask you bring blankets or throws to protect.
We have off-road parking spaces for two cars and a rarity in Rye.
Southbank is next door to the fantastic pub 'The Globe’, popular with locals and visitors and only a few minute's walk from the town centre, making a good base for exploring the town. There are great walking country trails within easy reach.

Such a lovely space and a great location! Lovely pub next door and a short walk into Rye itself. We stayed on a hot weekend and had to have the windows open. There is a busy road (seems like the main road in/out of Rye) directly behind the property. This combined with traffic on our street and deliveries to the pub, it was a noisy nighttime environment. Would suggest earplugs. Otherwise, a really lovely place!

We had a fantastic holiday at this house in August. The location is perfect, on a lovely street but a two minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Rye. The house itself is beautifully appointed and stylishly decorated throughout, with modern and brand new kitchen and bathroom. Lovely pub next door too! It was a superb holiday home for our family of four but would also be ideal for a group of friends or two couples. Highly recommended! 5 stars
