Seaside Retreat is a family-friendly holiday cottage in the sleepy village of Rye Harbour close to the Nature Reserve.**
You enter the property into the boot/utility room, the perfect space to leave coats, muddy shoes and beach paraphernalia after a day of exploring. Here you will find a separate freezer and washer/dryer along with a sink and the usual cleaning materials.
From the boot room, you have a long corridor leading to two of the double bedrooms, a cloakroom and the family bathroom. The family bathroom has a bath with shower screen, shower and separate shower hose for bathing the little ones, a large hand basin, WC, shaver point and heated towel rail.
At the end of the hallway overlooking the enclosed garden is the kitchen/diner with a dishwasher, large fridge, and a well-equipped kitchen. French doors open onto the large decked terrace and stairs down to the lawn area, fabulous on warm summer evenings for entertaining.
There is a door off the kitchen with stairs leading to the third bedroom. Here you will find two single beds, one 3ft and the other 2’6ft suitable for a child. As the bedroom is in the eaves there is head restriction in places.
The lounge is a super cosy room, overlooking the garden with a large comfy sofa and armchair and the all-important woodburner. for those winter afternoons when you want to hibernate. There is a large smart TV, blue ray player with a DVD library, a few board games and books if needed. There is a desk and wifi if you have to bring work away with you.
A stay at Seaside Retreat is a good opportunity to recharge your batteries and enjoy a slower pace of life. Beautiful walks in the nature reserve only minutes from the property and the pretty medieval town of Rye less than 3 miles away.
Comfortable holiday let with open fire
This is a lovely property, furnished to a high standard, very comfortable and clean. Ample space to properly relax. The property is at the end of a very quiet road with very friendly neighbours. Excellent location to tour Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and visit local places of interest. Would highly recommend.
