Honey Cottage is in the heart of Rye, only minutes from the railway station

The two-bedroom holiday cottage has been tastefully furnished to a high standard and meets all your holidaying needs.

You enter the cottage straight into the lounge, with a small wood burner, large Smart TV and comfy seating for everyone. A doorway leads to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The compact walled courtyard with outdoor seating and the original 'town wall' is accessed from the kitchen, a perfect spot for breakfast or an evening tipple.

Stairs lead up to the main bedroom to the front and the second bedroom to the rear. The smaller bedroom has a single bed but this can be configured as a double bed on request. Please note that when made up as double, access is from the end of the bed, as there is no room to access from the sides. This bedroom has a drop-down desk space if you need to bring work away with you. Only accessible when the bedroom is occupied with a single bed.

A bijou modern bathroom, with an enclosed shower cubicle, hand basin and WC is on the first floor between the two bedrooms.

The cottage is on the main road and there may be some road noise at certain times of the day or when windows are open.

Ideally, the cottage would suit a couple or small family with one or two children.

We will consider one well behaved dog but only on request, rules and fees apply.

Honey Cottage is a fantastic base for exploring Rye, with everything within minutes of the holiday cottage.

Location was brilliant, very close to the station. The cottage was really clean, and cosy. Both beds were really comfortable - overall really lovely stay! A bathmat would have been great :-)

Extremely clean, lovely hosts and tastefully furnished

Location as great. Property was well kept, and clean. Perfect for my week working in Rye. Cottage contact responded to queries quickly. Wifi failed during our stay, which as I was staying for business was not ideal. Also the TV doesn't have an antenna so only operates as a smart TV, which requires the wifi to work. However, I raised the issue with the cottage contact and they responded and rang the internet provider very quickly. Unfortunately Openreach was not able to come out and fix the problem during my stay, but this is out of the owners hands.

It was a convenient cottage for a short stay in a very interesting area. +The location was quite noisy but I had ear plugs so slept well. - The handrail could have been longer.

**Cozy and nice weekend trip to Rye with excursions to the Natural Reserve and Camber Sands.** It is a very cozy cottage in the heart of Rye. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is a very nice and useful backyard. We did not have any meal in the house but it seemed to have all appliances needed, and they were in excellent conditions. The shower is really comfortable and the bathroom is well organized. The only thing that I would improve is to add a hairdryer to the bathroom appliances. **Review response** We have now added a hairdryer

**Super handy and cosy weekend retreat** Close enough to the festival spectacles to enjoy a wobbly downhill amble after a full on evening of fun The shower - the cubicle is an ok size but has maybe a too large shower head. it was impossible to raise or lower to any great degree

**Brilliant!** Furnishings - imaginative and well thought out; fitting the cottage and area. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were most inviting. The shower was ingenious......I only weigh 8 stone and I did wonder how larger persons manage! Negatives Main road noise .....and almost knocked myself out on the wall above the fridge! Also, the TV was a bit mad: I used BBC on my lap top in preference.
