The apartment has a bright, airy, open plan living area all on one level, with a high vaulted ceiling, exposed timbers and a stall divider from the milking parlour days to separate the sleeping area, making the apartment fairly unique.

The bedroom area has a king-size bed, with quality linen, throw and cushions and another TV, in case you fancy a lazy morning. 10/10 stay! Will deffinitely come back and recommend. Beautiful decoration and furnishings and is a real home away from home. Has everything you could need and added special extras such as local biscuits and snacks. The bed was also super comfortable. Only a 15 min walk into town which is very doable, we also tried the recommended walk right by the house they kindly pointed out in the guestbook. Loved Rye in general, a couple both in their 30s so we came for bank holiday, great pubs and beaches. Cant fault the stay!

Freshly renovated property so everything is clean / brand new, no negatives.

Welcome pack, lovely dog blanket, lovely quality towels. Quality furnishings. Dog friendly cottage. Note for other dog owners: Garden was not dog friendly (enclosed), so dog had to be on a leash when we were outside, shame.

We had a great stay in Rye, a beautiful little town with lots of vineyards and beaches to explore in the surrounding area. Great that we could bring our dog on the trip with us.

Had an amazing 6 nights at Buttercup cottage, amazing space, very quiet and beautifully presented. We had 2 cars so were able to park one onsite and the other at the carpark down the hill which was only £2.60 for the day. Rye is amazing ( Once you get away from the station and up the hill), and there was so much to do within a short drive.

A very cosy cottage on the edge of Rye. You can walk into Rye in 15 minutes. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. There is a private outside area with seating. For dog owners there is also the opportunity to go for a walk directly from the cottage.

This is ‘as it says on the tin’ and the description given for the property is very accurate. The property is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The welcome pack of milk tea/coffee and biscuits was a nice touch. The location was peaceful and perfect for our 4 night stay. It was a good 15-20 minute walk into town, but we found a long stay car park half way on route so used that and continue with a short walk into the centre of Rye, which has plenty of good pubs and restaurants. We did the Rye trail using the map from the tourist office for just £2 and learnt a lot about the town and buildings instead of wandering aimlessly around. The nature reserve is also worth a visit. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would have no hesitation in rebooking it for a further stay. During our stay we met the owner of the property who also filled us in on some interesting local history about the area which was bombed during the 2nd WW. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.
