May's House is a stunning holiday cottage in Rye Harbour, minutes from the Nature Reserve
The cottage is one in a row of terrace houses in the quiet hamlet of Rye Harbour, less than 3 miles from the historic town of Rye, sleeping 4 guests.
You enter the property directly into the snug, cosy lounge with a wood burner for those colder evenings spent at home.
The cottage has a modern extension with a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and a further seating area with a wood burner, flooded with light whatever the season.
French doors open onto the small garden with a patio area directly outside for morning coffee or late afternoon drinks. A little summerhouse provides space for a quiet reading spot or home office if required.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a stunning shower room. The first bedroom is the smaller of the two and is to the front of the cottage. The second bedroom is up another set of stairs and is a bright and welcoming room.
The cottage is the perfect bolthole for those who love walking and bird-watching as it is only 5 minutes from the impressive Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
There is street parking directly outside the cottage and an excellent cycle route into the town of Rye if you wish to explore further.
With all the mod-cons May's House is a home from home and a great spot when staying in East Sussex.
- One well behaved dog for a small fee

Just as described. Lovely house and really clean and looked after. Lovely surprise of a Valentine's Day cake. Beautifully decorated house.

The cottage is located near rye harbour ( not the main rye town) which is clearly stated on booking( just incase people think otherwise). Walkable to beach at rye harbour and pub. It is a lovely modern cottage with a nice kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedrooms. Recently done up I believe. The garden is secure for dogs and is a little sun trap. The only thing which could be improved is having spare toilet rolls, bin bags, salt and pepper etc as this is usually provided in other air b n bs we have stayed in and considering the cost perhaps it should just be thrown in so you don’t need to go shopping for basic essentials. Not a big deal but something for the host to consider.

Lovely stay in the house for a few days over the bank holiday. Great location for Rye and the beach - lovely time had by all

Beautiful cottage: well equipped, comfortable and probably the cleanest we have stayed in. Perfect location too for a restful break and some lovely walks. Good location for visits to Rye town centre, Winchelsea and other towns.

We have stayed in the harbour before so knew what to expect. Love the nature reserve on back door. 2 mins and you are in utter peace. Road busy during the day but very quiet in the evenings.
