The holiday cottage is one of a row of Victorian terraced homes and is charming, cosy, dog-friendly and a 5-minute walk from the Railway station. Set over three floors this attractive holiday home has ample space for all the family and can accommodate up to 5 guests.

You enter the cottage from the pretty courtyard garden at the rear into the well-equipped kitchen. All the mod-cons are available to make your stay a home from home. There is a modern bathroom with bath and overhead shower facilities on the ground floor. The lounge with a wood-burner, HD TV and comfortable seating for all guests is a bright room to relax in.

The main bedroom has a double bed with room to position a travel cot if required. The attic bedroom has two single beds, but note there are some height restrictions in this room. There is a small middle lounge/bedroom with a convertible futon style single sofa bed but please note access to the attic bedroom is through this room.

The small courtyard garden is fully-fenced with outside seating and a BBQ.

We accept one well-behaved dog for a small fee and provide a 'dog box' with treats and water bowls, an emergency dog blanket and a stock of poop bags. We do ask that the dog does not go upstairs and that they must stay off the beds and furniture.

We can provide a travel cot, high chair and stair gate if required and prefer they are requested when booking.

A small welcome pack will await your arrival, with tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

The cottage is close to several stunning beaches and natural reserves, and there are many delightful walks close by for exploring 1066 Country. Rye is blessed with a good selection of independent retails, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.

So whether you want a long weekend or a week away exploring somewhere new, Daisy Tatham Cottage is a good bolt-hole for quality time with family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage is cosy and clean. All of our questions we’re answered quickly. The location is the best you can get, quiet and in town at the same time. Check in was convenient. Good value for money in this fantastic little town. Only one thing that can be improved is the size of the twin bed upstairs, for us tall people it is too small, but that’s the only thing I can come up with. Thanks for a lovely time in Daisy Tatham cottage, wishing you all the best and of course a merry Christmas! Boxmeer the Netherlands

Lovely little cottage in great location for exploring the town. Dungeness definitely worth a visit, a most surreal group of shanty homes with lighthouse, steam train and power station!!!

Never a dull moment in the week we've been here! Nice, cosy and very good located cottage. This weekend the festive season began, what a Christmasy little town, very nice!Love the cider and lager in the pub the other side if the street. Had a beautiful walk to Winchelsea and Rye Harbour (good Greek restaurant there - William the Conquer pub) Thanks for a lovely stay.

Thank you so much for a wonderful New Years break in your cottage. It was the perfect central location to explore Rye & the surrounding area. The cottage supplied everything that you could needed to feel comfortable & at home. The little extra touches like milk and snacks for when we arrived after a long journey from Cornwall made all the difference. We will be back.

Excellent week in this delightful cottage. Be warned - if you go for walks/ pub lunches, check that places are open and doing food. We loved the Ferry Inn at Stone and the New Inn Winchelsea. Also enjoyed William the Conquer at Rye Harbour and the Pilot at Dungeness. We loved the cottage. Cosy very well equipped and in a great location. Good communication and great that we were able to check in early when we arrived. Car parking at market easy although you need a degree in computers to log into the app for parking at the station. A bit of a nightmare for us oldies, though we appreciate it’s out of your control! We had a great week so thanks.

We had a lovely few days back in Rye with amazing weather for this time of year. Your cottage is very well equipped and we were warm and cosy. Thank you for allowing us to bring both our small and we hope - well behaved fur babies! We have no complaints. Give your self 5’s 🤣 We will definitely be in touch next time we come, John had a nice quiet birthday as he desired ! Thank you

Wow! Absolutely beautiful. We have been coming to Rye twice a year for the last six years. We have stayed in many places but Daisy Tatham Cottage is by far our favourite. We were so sad to leave. We have had the most relaxed few days and your cottage is so homely, fully equipped and has such comfy beds! We want to stay forever :) We will be back for sure.

A really lovely stay in Rye.The cottage is compact but has everything we needed, very comfortable and homely. We loved the wood fire in the evening and the bed was comfortable. Rye is a great place for a short stay - lots of lovely places to eat out and everyone was really friendly & welcoming. We loved the waterworks across the road - Quirky & packed with friendly people. Ypres Castle Inn also worth a visit, although tucked away from the main drag. Thank you for a great weekend

Thank you so much for lending us your cottage! We had a wonderful week. Lovely weather and we have fallen in love with Rye. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. Such a lovely holiday, walking along Winchelsea beach was our favourite.

Daisy Tatham cottage was perfect. Just a couple of minutes from the railway station or the long stay car park making it perfect for travel and all the amenities thst Rye has to offer. The beds were super comfy together with bed linen made for an excellent nights sleep. The cottage had everything you need for a carefree stay and also a log burning fire if the weather was a little cold. Would definitely stay again.

  • Stefan

The past two weeks have been absolutely wonderful! The house is really charming and surpassed our expectations. Cambers Sands and Battle outside of old Rye were two of our highlights. We will definitely be recommending a stay in the cottage to our family and friends.
