New Year In East Sussex

Happy New Year, we can’t believe we are already the second week in, how did that happen?

It is always nice to look ahead and make plans. It’s great to see in the news that more people have taken up walking and many are walking the coastal paths. A wonderful way to keep fit but a super way to enjoy some of the stunning coastline that we are lucky enough to be blessed with in the UK. We do not usually make new years resolutions but this year, we aim to walk on our beaches as often as possible and take time out for some quality ‘me time’, so important today with our modern living.

In our little corner of the South East, we have fantastic nature reserves and it is a fabulous way to get the whole family involved and the family dog too.

Rye & Beyond Holiday Cottages are perfectly situated for enjoying Dungeness Nature Reserve, Rye Nature Reserve and Hastings Country Park, as we are located right in the middle of 1066 Country. Our little pocket of the South East is sprinkled with history, heritage, country homes, gardens, magnificent castles and only a short drive from Europe. Thats why we think it is a great place to visit, whether for your summer break or a long weekend. The area is abundant with wine and food festivals scattered throughout the year and a great many thriving festivals, to add to the long list as to why you should come and stay with us. As we are a small, local holiday cottage company, we have a wealth of local knowledge, some hidden secrets and we go the extra mile to make your holiday as special as it can be.

Whether you are looking for children or dog friendly holiday cottages, romantic apartments or a large country home to gather with friends, let us match you to your perfect holiday home and come and explore with us.
